As a Bakers Assistant , you will be responsible for assisting Pastry Chef in creating a variety of baked goods and desserts, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Your role will require strong pastry/ culinary skills, including baking, and food handling.. You will produce a variety of baked goods from scratch and ensure consistency and efficiency. Part time/Full-time position /early morning hours.

Salary:

TBD ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Produce all needed pastry goods including but not limited to breakfast pastries, cookies, brownies, breads, cakes, puddings, icings, fancy pastries, desserts, etc. Maintain a safe, organized and clean kitchen at all times. Prepping, measuring and scaling ingredients Clean and sanitize equipment and work station A good understanding of making bread, cakes, cookies, pies, and custards from scratch Ability to read recipes and procedures Manages dating, labeling and ordering Maintains safety and security in workstation. Performs material handling tasks, which may require bending, stooping and lifting at least 50 pounds of weight.
