Matcharista Premium Matcha Café Maiko We're looking for friendly, dependable, and hardworking Matcharistas to join our team! As a Matcharista, you'll prepare our matcha drinks, soft serve, and desserts while creating a welcoming experience for every customer. No matcha experience is required — we'll teach you everything you need to know! Responsibilities Prepare matcha, hojicha, specialty drinks, soft serve, and desserts according to Café Maiko standards Provide friendly and attentive customer service Take customer orders and operate the POS system accurately Learn our menu, ingredients, recipes, and preparation methods Maintain consistency and quality during both busy and slower shifts Restock ingredients, cups, toppings, and other supplies throughout the shift Complete opening and closing duties as assigned Keep the service area, equipment, counters, floors, and back-of-house areas clean and organized Wash dishes and complete routine cleaning tasks Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Communicate and work efficiently with teammates during high-volume periods Help create a positive, respectful, and dependable team environment What We're Looking For Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Reliable, punctual, and responsible Able to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail Willing to learn and follow recipes and store procedures Able to take direction and communicate well with teammates Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal café duties, including cleaning, restocking, and lifting supplies Previous café, restaurant, boba, or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required Availability We are especially looking for team members with flexible availability, including evenings and weekends . Applicants should be able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule. Availability during weekends, holidays, and school breaks is highly preferred.
