Job Description

Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Baker I is responsible for assisting in the presentation, display, and production of baked goods and pastries, with an emphasis on quality, appearance, and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in preparing baked goods and other items as needed, following the designated recipes and procedures Display baked goods creatively and keep displays well-stocked, clean, and organized Present a courteous attitude to guests, going out of the way to offer assistance , on the phone or in person Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 months of experience in baking or culinary school Able to stand for long periods of time Able to lift and carry full sheet pans Must be able to work a variety of shifts including early morning and evening shifts Customer service and teamwork skills
