Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable Bakery Team Member to support our Bakery Manager in preparing a variety of cookies and frostings. The ideal candidate will assist with daily baking operations, ensuring high-quality standards, cleanliness, and consistency in all products. Must be 18+, pay is $13

• 15 an hour depending on experience. Tuesdays from 8:15 am
• 3pm and either Wednesday OR Friday from 8:15am
• 3pm

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and baking cookies. Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately. Ensure that all products are consistently high in quality and meet bakery standards. Monitor the baking process and adjust as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards Assist in the preparation and storing of baked goods. Handle and store raw ingredients, such as flour, sugar, and butter, properly. Assist in inventory management and report any shortages to the head baker. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use. Perform basic tasks like measuring ingredients, mixing dough, and preparing baking pans. Assist with the setup and cleanup of the bakery.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is a plus, but not required. Basic understanding of baking techniques and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work early morning/afternoons and some holidays if necessary. Additional Skills (Preferred): Passion for baking. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
