Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour This position is for
LEAD PREPPER
. The Lead Prepper is responsible for getting the entire store ready for the day before the main shift begins. Your job is to make sure our scoopers, toppers, runners, and baggers walk into a clean, organized, fully stocked operation with everything they need to succeed. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position. You should be able to work independently, follow prep standards, stay organized, and identify what needs to be completed without constantly being directed.
MUST BE OVER 18 MUST BE AVAILABLE TUESDAY-SUNDAY, APPROXIMATELY 10 AM - 3 PM
We are a new location of a growing brand and are looking for people who want to take ownership and help us build a great operation. The Scoop N Scootery started as a local ice cream sundae shop and delivery restaurant in the greater Boston area, known for our decadent sundaes and late-night hours. We are a fast-growing company looking for upbeat, ambitious team members who take pride in organization, consistency, cleanliness, and preparation. Responsibilities Prepare the store for opening and the upcoming shift Bake cookies, brownies, cakes, and other baked goods according to daily par levels Prepare whipped creams, frostings, sauces, and other ingredients Portion and refill toppings and ingredients Make sure all topping stations are fully stocked before the shift begins Restock cups, lids, spoons, containers, napkins, and other supplies Check inventory and pull additional product from storage as needed Organize refrigerators, freezers, dry storage, and prep areas Wash and organize dishes, utensils, containers, and equipment Keep counters, workstations, equipment, and prep surfaces clean Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks Take out trash and recycling as needed Make sure the store is clean, organized, and ready for the team Identify items that are running low and communicate inventory needs to management Follow recipes, portioning standards, and food-safety procedures Help receive, organize, and put away deliveries when necessary Complete the daily prep checklist before the shift begins Communicate with management about anything that could impact service that day The Lead Prepper should not simply complete a list and stop. Your responsibility is to make sure the store is truly ready for the day. Before you leave, the team should have the ingredients, supplies, equipment, and organization they need to handle a busy shift.
