Job Summary Looking for an amazing bake team for our sourdough bagels! We are looking for people who love baking or people who want learn and experience the joys of making bagels! In this energetic role, you will be essential in creating delicious sourdough baked goods, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and having fun! We are looking for bakers who want to potentially work 3am shifts and be finished around 10-11 and have the rest of the day to yourself or bakers who want a 7am start and still enjoy the joys of baking! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your baking expertise while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Prepare doughs, cream cheeses and fillings for a variety of baked goods including bagels, breads, and other sourdough things! Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, slicers, and knives safely and efficiently Rolling and shaping bagels with techniques taught Prepare baked items carefully to ensure freshness and presentation quality Maintain a clean workspace by following food safety standards and sanitation protocols Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavor and appearance Handle food products responsibly, adhering to food safety management practices Support the team with food handling, preparation, and catering needs as required Qualifications Previous experience in food production or bakery environments is highly preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in dough preparation are desirable Knowledge of in sourdough is highly desirable Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience working in high-volume production settings is advantageous Culinary or baking certification is a bonus but not required Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment We are excited to start our journey in our sourdough bagel adventures!
