Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dog Treat Baker & Decorator to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, delicious dog treats and creatively decorating them to appeal to pet owners. The part-time schedule is Sunday through Tuesday. For full-time hours, add one additional day of your choice. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of dog treats following established recipes and food safety guidelines Decorate treats with creative designs, ensuring visual appeal and consistency Manage ingredient inventory, properly packaging finished products for retail or wholesale distribution Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, piping tools, and decorating supplies efficiently and safely Adhere strictly to recipe specifications, portion control, and quality standards during food production Assist in food handling procedures, including dough preparation, ingredient measurement, and sanitation practices Support high-volume production needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Ensure all treats are properly labeled and packaged for customer presentation or storage Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure product freshness Experience Previous experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation is highly preferred Demonstrated skill in cake decorating or pastry arts enhances your suitability for this role Experience working with baked goods or in a high-volume kitchen environment is advantageous Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards within the food industry is essential Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, piping tools, and knives is required Proven ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced setting Customer service experience is a plus, especially when engaging with pet owners or retail clients Join us if you're eager to blend culinary creativity with pet wellness!
