About us The Golden Plum is a small business in Occoquan, VA. We are supportive, engaging, sometimes fast paced, and our goal is to welcome customers with the warmth that all small town bakeries should have... and mean it! Formerly Mom's Apple Pie, we have a wonderful customer base that we hope to expand. We would like our retail representatives to enjoy being a part of that small town presence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all retail customers
• Assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, and returns
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Stock shelves and merchandise products as needed
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and happy work environment
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge

Requirements:

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong math skills for retail transactions
• Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling ALL transactions We are looking for someone who is specifically able to

WORK SUNDAYS AND OFFER COVERAGE

for other staff members in a part time position. This would likely be a floating schedule (not the same each week). Hours may be limited to start, but we will need more people on schedule for the days leading up to each holiday. Please note that insurance is offered to full time employees only, while time off is accrued in all positions.
