Haute Cakes is an award-winning bakery in Old Town Warrenton known for beautiful cakes, French macarons, cookies, and handcrafted desserts. As we expand into our new Haute Cakes Bakeshop & Café, we are growing our pastry team and looking for passionate bakers who love creating high-quality desserts from scratch. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with doughs, batters, and pastries while helping maintain the quality and consistency our customers know and love. Responsibilities Baking cookies, cakes, macarons, pastries, and other signature desserts Preparing batters, doughs, fillings, frostings, and other components from scratch Following recipes and production schedules to maintain consistent product quality Assisting with decorating and finishing pastries and desserts when needed Maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and following food safety standards Helping with prep and production for seasonal menus, holidays, and large orders Support for events, and cafe service Working collaboratively with the pastry team to keep production running smoothly Ideal Candidate Passionate about baking and pastry Detail-oriented with a strong sense of consistency and quality Comfortable working in a fast-paced production kitchen Organized, dependable, and a strong team player Professional kitchen or baking experience preferred, but passion and work ethic matter most About Haute Cakes Haute Cakes is a beloved local bakery that has been voted Best Bakery in Fauquier multiple years in a row.
