Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join our talented bakery team. In this role, you will bring beautiful and creative cake designs to life, ensuring each masterpiece meets our high standards of quality and presentation. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary artistry while contributing to a beloved local bakery known for its exceptional baked goods. Responsibilities Decorate cakes to create visually stunning desserts Follow established recipes and cake decorating techniques to ensure consistency and quality Prepare baked goods including doughs, pastries, and other confections as needed for decoration or presentation Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools safely and efficiently Assist with food preparation tasks related to cake assembly and pastry production Package finished cakes carefully for customer pickup while ensuring product integrity Skills Experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, and food production techniques helpful but not required Knife skills and proficiency in dough preparation for baked goods Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment effectively within a high-volume production environment Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for design aesthetics Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and recipe adherence Customer service orientation to ensure positive interactions with clients and team members Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to food safety standards Join us at Klinger's Bread Company where your creativity can flourish!
