With more than 10 years of refinement and 50+ locations worldwide, BA has opened its first U.S. flagship in Bellevue. Our bakery works across sourdough bread, viennoiserie, pastry, desserts, fillings, creams, and other products made in-house. Depending on your experience and strengths, you may work across dough mixing, shaping, fermentation, baking, lamination, pastry, decorating, fillings, creams, and other parts of daily production. You will have the opportunity to see and participate in the full process behind handmade breads, pastries, and desserts rather than being limited to one repetitive station. Key Responsibilities Support daily bakery and pastry production as part of the back-of-house team. Work across different production areas depending on experience, strengths, and daily team needs. Participate in tasks that may include dough mixing, fermentation, shaping, baking, lamination, pastry production, decorating, fillings, creams, and finishing. Maintain consistency, attention to detail, and product quality throughout production. Stay aware of the overall production flow and proactively support teammates when help is needed. Keep your station, tools, equipment, and shared work areas clean and organized throughout the shift. Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and production standards. Communicate clearly and contribute to smooth handoffs between different areas of the bakery. Approach the work with reliability, urgency, care, and a positive attitude. Qualifications Previous bakery, pastry, culinary, or food-production experience is preferred, but training is available for the right person. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude. Genuine interest in artisan bread, pastry, desserts, and handmade production. Willingness to learn different parts of the bakery rather than remaining limited to one station. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality. Clear communication and willingness to help coworkers. Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to work professionally within a team. Comfortable working in a fast-moving bakery and kitchen environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
