Our team is growing and we have an immediate opportunity for an experienced pastry baker to join our Phinney Ridge bakery:

DUTIES:

Pastry prep work and production, including mixing cakes, cookies, and assorted doughsShaping, proofing, baking and frying yeasted doughsMust be able to work cleanly and efficiently and maintain an organized workspace and prep listAble to receive constructive feedback, communicate needs effectively, and be open to problem-solving with coworkers/managersWe work in a small space, and value teamwork very highly, so are looking for an individual who has strong communication skills, a good work ethic, and is good at working independently. Being kind and conscientious is a must.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Early morning start times (5-6 AM); weekend shifts requiredPart-time preferred1.5+ years professional baking & pastry experience requiredMust have valid food worker's permitLifting of heavy items (50+ lbs.) required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

While we got our start with sourdough over the years we have expanded our menu from strictly sourdough loaves to include pastries, sandwiches, and more.
