Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Full-Time Closing Froster to join our bakery team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for helping each day finish strong by preparing next-day orders, making frosting, and balancing that work flow with walk-in orders. Responsibilities Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards in all food handling activities Prepare same-day and next-day orders with attention to detail and a high level of quality that ensures each guest is getting exactly what they ordered Respond quickly and efficiently to walk-in orders Keep the front-of-house display case full of ready-to-go cakes Coordinate with our Guest Service Representative to make sure each order is going out properly and that the case is full Communicate to all team members with kindness, enthusiasm, and clarity to ensure that the team is aware of the status of the frosting department Make frosting in large batches using a commercial mixer and a standard recipe Keep the frosting department clean, organized, and operational Notify managers when anything is low of stock Coordinate with opening frosters to make sure each shift is executing the necessary tasks Follow the department checklist to close down frosting at the end of each day Can speak and read English. Spanish checklists are also available, but communication with the FOH team is in English 18 years of age or older Certified to work in the

Know:

This role requires lifting up to 50lbs, fine motor skill tasks, standing, and hand/wrist motions All of our roles operate with a 30/60/90 review period that allows for consistent feedback, conversation, and growth in pay and benefits This business is family owned and operated! We enjoy working with people who take pride in their work and want to be part of a positive team environment All roles have the opportunity to cross-train in other departments The hours of this role will adjust from a 6 hour closing shift to a 7 or 8 hour shift during the holiday busy season Our operating hours are from 9:30am to 7:00pm. Shifts will go no later than 7:30pm We close on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day to allow our team to celebrate with family or enjoy the day off to themselves!
