Bakery Associate

Duties Prepare and assemble baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met consistently Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately Provide friendly customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling bakery items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Restock shelves, display cases, and baking supplies to keep the bakery inviting and well-organized Assist with food handling, cashiering, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations as needed in a quick service or fast food environment Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy while providing excellent cashiering experiences Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is preferred Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for transactions, inventory counts, and sales upselling Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights regularly Join us as a Bakery Associate where your energy fuels our success!
