Cake Decorator - Duties Decorate cakes and baked goods with intricate designs, fondant, icing, and other decorative elements to create visually stunning desserts. Follow specific recipes and decorating techniques to ensure consistency in flavor and appearance. Prepare cake fillings, frosting, and other pastry components with precision and attention to detail. Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and piping tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Package finished products carefully for delivery or customer pickup, ensuring presentation quality is preserved. Collaborate with team members to meet high-volume production demands while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications - Cake Decorator Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry preparation, or food production within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment. Strong skills in cake decorating techniques including piping, fondant work, and dough preparation. Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently with excellent knife skills. Familiarity with recipe adherence, baking processes, and high-volume food production. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward team collaboration. Basic math skills for measurements, portioning, and ingredient scaling. Previous experience in food industry roles such as catering or restaurant work is highly desirable.
