Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity to meet customer specifications (this is a plus, but not necessary) Package baked items efficiently while maintaining product freshness and presentation Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and decorating tools safely and effectively Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management protocols and sanitation standards Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about ingredients or baking processes, and provide excellent service Support high-volume production needs during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently Position requires early morning hours Qualifications Previous experience in food production, bakery work, or culinary environments is highly preferred Strong knife skills, dough preparation expertise, and pastry experience are essential for success in this role Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations to ensure quality control Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency in baked goods production Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward clients and team members Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory Experience operating kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and decorating tools is desirable Catering or restaurant experience will be considered an asset for this energetic role
