Job Description
Job Overview Join our team at Coffee & Comfort! We are a small cafe serving coffee, drinks, baked goods, and a variety of foods. We are located in the Federal Courthouse in Downtown. We wish for you to join us as a Barista, where your passion for coffee and exceptional customer service will create memorable experiences for every guest. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will be key in delivering high-quality drinks and maintaining a clean, efficient café setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other refreshments. Operate POS systems such as Clover to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with precision. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, beverage equipment, and customer seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met consistently. Restock supplies regularly to ensure availability of ingredients, cups, utensils, and other essentials for smooth operations. Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service background is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with beverage preparation and customer interaction. Has a Food Handler's Card or is willing to obtain one within a working week. Proficiency with POS systems such as Clover for retail sales transactions. Able to work full-day (7:30 am~2:30 pm)(Closed Sat & Sun). Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Basic time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours effectively.
