Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining cash handling accuracy Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices Engage with customers through friendly conversation, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly Follow food safety guidelines during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality standards are met Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality or safety Experience Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or cash handling enhances your ability to succeed in this role Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, food handling, and beverage preparation is a plus Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Barista and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating delightful experiences for every guest.
