Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately Handle cash, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining excellent cashiering practices Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling areas, beverage stations, and seating spaces Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to ensure quality standards are met Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality or safety Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service within the food industry, with knowledge of beverage preparation techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate processing of transactions Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards in café environments Excellent time management to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering top-notch café experiences!
