Duties Prepare a variety of food items including hot dishes, salads, snacks, and beverages with attention to recipe adherence and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, poaching stations, braising pots, and food processors safely and efficiently Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring consistency in food production Manage food handling responsibilities with care, including portion control, food storage, and waste reduction Support high-volume food production during peak hours while maintaining quality standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow in a fast-paced setting, providing excellent food service experience to all customers Qualifications Previous dietary aide or dietary department experience is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly Experience with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen environment Demonstrated proficiency in operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with menu planning and recipe adherence within a high-volume setting Excellent knife skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Prior restaurant or food industry experience emphasizing food handling, catering, or fine dining is preferred Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding culinary experiences!
