Duties Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions, process payments, give correct change, and balance registers at shift end Provide friendly and attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment to ensure food safety standards are met Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks to support bakery operations Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while adhering to food safety protocols and hygiene standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing registers Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Experience as a barista or in beverage service is desirable Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties regularly Join us at Grama's Bakery where your enthusiasm fuels great coffee moments!
