This position will also assist with aspects of on-site catered events from set-up to break-down. Assistants provide exceptional customer service and work as part of the Café @ Rio team. Essential Functions 25%

• Operates cash register and prepares reports on cash transactions 25%
• Prepares hot and cold beverages to order 20%
• Preps equipment and beverages for catering events 20%
• Set-up and break-down of on-campus catered events 10%
• Cleaning.

Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Ability to work as a team player and individually Experience providing exceptional customer service Experience in a food and beverage setting Special Working Conditions Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds; requires a food handler's card/certificate or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
