Part-Time / Full-Time About the Role Hop Cafe is looking for a Barista with a strong passion for specialty coffee to join our team in Arcadia. Alongside crafting high-quality espresso drinks, you will help manage our expanded cafe menu, which features popular street-style snacks like popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, bubble waffles, and ice cream. Key Responsibilities

• Craft specialty espresso beverages and teas with precision, maintaining strict quality and consistency standards.
• Dial in espresso grinders, adjust extraction parameters, and maintain equipment daily.
• Prepare food and snack items (popcorn chicken, sweet potato fries, made-to-order bubble waffles, and ice cream treats) following safety and quality guidelines.
• Handle POS transactions, manage order flow efficiently between beverage and food preparation, and deliver friendly service.
• Keep the espresso bar, kitchen equipment, and seating areas clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with inventory tracking for coffee beans, dairy, syrups, and snack ingredients. Qualifications
• 1+ years of hands-on barista experience required.
• Specialty coffee shop experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of espresso extraction theory, milk steaming/latte art, and bean varieties.
• Experience or comfort working with light food prep equipment (fryers, waffle makers, ice cream assembly).
• Excellent multitasking ability in a high-volume, fast-paced cafe setting.
• Current California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days). Compensation & Benefits
