We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking team member to join our dessert café. This role includes scooping and serving ice cream, preparing matcha, hojicha, and espresso-based drinks, helping customers, and keeping the shop clean, organized, and running smoothly. For candidates with strong experience, there may be an opportunity to step into a Shift Lead role with additional responsibility and pay.
Duties:
Scoop and serve ice cream in a friendly and efficient manner Prepare matcha, hojicha, and espresso-based drinks Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately Maintain a clean and organized shop, including front and back work areas Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations Upsell and promote products when appropriate Help restock products and monitor inventory levels Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks Work efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining a positive attitude Take initiative and help keep the shop running smoothly without needing constant direction Communicate issues or store needs clearly to management Help maintain service, cleanliness, and product quality standards Additional Shift Lead Responsibilities for
