Part-Time Barista / Café Team Member Berkeley, CA $20-$24/hour + tips , depending on experience Part-time | Flexible schedule Nudi Blue is a cozy neighborhood café in Berkeley, offering thoughtfully prepared coffee, tea, pastries, and refreshing non-alcoholic beverages . We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Barista / Café Team Member to join our small team. We're looking for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in their work, and loves creating a warm and welcoming experience for guests. What You'll Do Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages Serve pastries and café items with care and attention to presentation Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive customer service Take orders and process payments through our POS system Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately Keep the café, beverage station, and dining area clean and organized Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Restock beverages, pastries, and café supplies Support the team during busy periods Help maintain a warm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere at Nudi Blue What We're Looking For Previous experience in a café, restaurant, barista, cashier, or hospitality role is preferred Barista and coffee experience is a plus Friendly, positive, and service-oriented personality Reliable and responsible Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Able to multitask in a busy café environment Good attention to detail Basic math and cash-handling skills Good communication skills Food Handler certification is a plus We welcome applicants who are enthusiastic about learning. Training will be provided for the right person. Schedule This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling. We are especially looking for someone who can work weekday mornings and/or weekends .
