Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Barista Smoothie/Coffee specialist, where your passion for beverages and exceptional customer service will shine! In this energetic role, you'll craft delicious smoothies and expertly prepare a variety of coffee drinks, creating a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure each customer leaves satisfied and eager to return. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service while contributing to a lively café environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including smoothies, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Square Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, beverage preparation stations, and seating areas Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally Filling and producing juice, when no customers is in the shop Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety at all times Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high standards of drink quality Skills Experience with café operations, barista duties, or food service roles that involve beverage preparation and customer interaction Proficiency with POS systems Strong knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation, including smoothies, coffee brewing, and drink service techniques, previous experience in restaurant/coffee shops. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change Ability to maintain cleanliness standards through effective cleaning routines and food safety practices Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Food safety certification or knowledge of proper food handling procedures is preferred Join us in creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional beverage craftsmanship and friendly service.
