The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality coffee and beverages. Previous experience in coffee or food service is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards Operate POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and retail math calculations Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Assist with food preparation when necessary, including serving baked goods or light snacks Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Support team members in maintaining a positive work environment Experience Prior experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Familiarity with POS system is a plus Strong skills in customer service, sales, and serving are essential Basic math skills, including retail math, cash handling, and café operations knowledge, are necessary for accurate transactions Experience with food safety protocols, food preparation, and food handling is advantageous Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Join our team to enjoy a dynamic work environment where your skills in coffee making, customer service, and retail operations will be valued.
