You've found my transmission! If this message ever sees the light of day, it contains the descriptions and secret plans for what is poised to be the greatest coffee tavern the Milky Way galaxy has ever seen… (well, maybe not that great). Dreamwave — where the coffee slaps, the vibes are strong, and otherworldly weirdness will transport you to a world straight out of a Kurt Vonnegut novel. Dreamwave makes coffee fun again. It's not about taking a selfie outside some bougie shop just to make your other friends feel left out. No! That isn't cool. You know what is cool? Who cares. But don't let my silliness fool you; we take hospitality and coffee seriously—very seriously. As seriously as one can. This is a coffee shop designed for the working millennial, Gen Z, and the traditional normie. So, if you're someone who craves authenticity and throwback vibes, Dreamwave Coffee is your spot. Responsibilities Make and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, foods, and other specialty beverages, following established recipes to keep things consistent. Get to know our customers - take their orders, offer recommendations, and make sure they're having a great experience. Work the cash register and POS systems with accuracy and integrity. Keep the workspace clean and organized, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas, so we're always ready to go. Clean the bathroom regularly to maintain a clean, welcoming space for customers. Follow food safety standards and regulations to ensure every product meets our high-quality expectations. Help with inventory by keeping an eye on stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other essentials. Be on time - showing up on time is about being a reliable team player and ensuring we're ready to party. Experience Preferably 3-5 barista experience. This is for a senior role! If you're all about people, good vibes, and slinging great coffee, this might be the gig for you. If making someone's day sounds better than just making their drink, we want you on the team. So if you're still interested and available, please take the next 5-10 minutes to fill out this survey, and we can go from there! Thank you so much - hope your day is filled with cool birds and rainbows. Talk soon!
