We are a neighborhood café and bakery in Castro Valley and Alameda dedicated to serving handcrafted coffee, fresh pastries, and a warm atmosphere for our local community. We take pride in quality ingredients, welcoming customer service, and creating a great space for morning regulars and afternoon visitors alike. Responsibilities Prepare and serve handcrafted espresso beverages, pour-overs, and specialty drinks to brand standards. Welcome guests, take orders at the register, and process payments accurately. Assist with bakery display setup, stock fresh pastry cases, and warm food items. Maintain a clean, organized work environment, including counter spaces, dining area, and espresso equipment. Monitor inventory levels and restock products throughout the shift. Follow all safe food handling and sanitation guidelines.

What We're Looking For Experience:

Prior experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right person (a passion for coffee and a willingness to learn are required).

Skills:

Friendly, reliable, and possesses strong communication, active listening, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

Current California Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire).

Availability:

Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and potential holidays.

Physical Requirements:
