Specialty coffee and restaurant experience is a requirement! Dose in a Box is not your grandma's coffee shop. Though we offer the same quality of drinks as a third-wave cafe, we make it a fun and unforgettable experience. Coffee Dose is a safe place for the coffee connoisseur, the instagrammer, and the basic b•tch. The Lead Barista is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and support to the team, as well as making schedules, enforcing procedures, making sure the cafe is running efficiently, being the point of contact between staff & upper management, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Job Duties:

Ensuring staff members are taking breaks Assisting customers with complaints or concerns Assisting with ordering Working with the store manager for day-to-day operations Ensuring quality drinks and products are being served Perform regular barista duties, including register and customer service Perform other duties, as assigned

Pay:

$19.50-$20.50/hour, plus tips averaging an additional $4-6 an hour

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous coffee experience Experience as a lead / supervisor Ability to work in high-pressure + fast-paced environments Well-organized and detail-oriented Experience in, and an ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system Effective problem solving/decision making skills Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and verbal communication skills

Job Schedule:

Full-time, approximately 40 hours a week, must be able to work weekends and holidays.
