Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, seating areas, and equipment to adhere to food safety standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments accurately, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts. Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving drinks, restocking supplies, and cleaning. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and giving correct change. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of food handling procedures and adherence to food safety standards.
