Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Boba Barista to join our team at our vibrant Boba shop. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee and food service will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience every time they visit. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Operate the Chowbus POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards before serving. Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for sales and change. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings, promotions, and coffee brewing techniques to enhance customer experience. Requirements Previous boba barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred. Familiarity with Chowbus POS systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create positive interactions with guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques within the food industry. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated during shifts.
