Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Barista to join our vibrant café team! Duties Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding beverage and food service, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink offerings Oversee retail sales transactions using POS systems, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and processing payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling, equipment cleaning, and adhering to food safety protocols Train new team members on beverage preparation, customer service techniques, POS operation, and food safety procedures Manage daily operations by coordinating order flow, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely service during busy periods Foster a welcoming environment by engaging with customers professionally and resolving any issues promptly Requirements Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or food service setting is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems for retail transactions and cash handling Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse guests Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and proper cleaning procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management Ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays Join us in creating memorable coffee experiences!
