Job Summary :

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of coffee and tea beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers. You will play an essential role in making each customer's experience memorable.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee and tea beverages, customizing them according to customer preferences. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers, providing menu recommendations and answering questions. Monitor inventory levels of supplies (coffee beans, syrups, etc.) and communicate needs to management. Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Requirements :

Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a bonus. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions. Excellent communication skills with a friendly, customer-focused demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods as required.
