Barista/Bartender Lafayette Public House Lafayette, CA Job Details Full-time $17 - $20 an hour 14 hours ago Benefits Paid training 401(k) Employee discount Qualifications Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Lafayette Public House is a fast-paced Coffee and Brunch restaurant in the morning, turned Bar & Kitchen on select evenings. We are looking for a bartender/barista who provides excellent customer service, ensures compliance with safety & alcohol regulations and works well within a fast-paced environment. Bartenders/Baristas are expected to learn each role within our establishment and be willing to do any task that aids in the overall success of the team. Tip pool ranges from $8-$20 an hour daily Baristas/Bartenders are responsible for but not limited to: Being punctual Positive attitude Mixing, garnishing and serving Lafayette Public House's cocktail/coffees based on recipes as well as customer preference upon completion of the Bar Certification Program Greet customers, take orders, provide recommendations based on knowledge of menu items Check IDs Adhering to all safety and alcohol regulations Hardworking/reliable Maintain a clean and organized bar area Washing glassware, utensils, bar tools as well as help bus the indoor/outdoor space and assist with back of house dishes Ringing customers up while holding efficiency and accuracy at the forefront of each transaction Actively engages in tasking to help the flow of the daypart be both successful & smooth Problem solves through customer complaints ensuring that the patron leaves happy Works well within a team environment and is willing to work wherever asked Keeps stations clean and stocked at the beginning, middle and end of their shift Flexible and willing to learn and takes instruction well from others Stays up to date on any company initiatives, changes, menus and policy updates Actively seeks feedback on how to perform their respective duties to the best of their abilities Actively seeks knowledge on all menu items and is able to answer customer questions regarding any menu items in each day part, including but not limited to seasonal menus, changing menu items and special menu(s) for holidays, events & promotional hours Stays up to date on any health code guidelines and regulations Is knowledgeable and proficient in proper food & beverage handling safety Executing all tasks assigned by the supervisor and/or manager(s) diligently Working within a team to achieve weekly, monthly and year goals/targets Maintaining a high level of professionalism while representing the company Effectively managing your time by prioritizing urgent tasks
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
