We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our dynamic café team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional coffee beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a friendly and welcoming environment. This role requires a love for coffee, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas and equipment. Assist customers with menu selections, taking orders accurately, and processing payments through the POS system. Handle cash transactions responsibly and ensure accurate cash handling practices. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food and beverage items served. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change are essential. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, as well as knowledge of coffee preparation techniques. A strong commitment to food safety practices is necessary for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere are crucial for success in this role.
