Position Overview We invite you to join our team as a Barista—an ambassador for heritage, hospitality, and the artistry of coffee. In this role, you will craft exquisite beverages, ensure a welcoming space for all, and ensure smooth operations for an optimum guest experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, beverages, and light food items with precision and care Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their visit Manage cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and food preparation tasks Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring product freshness Support team members during busy periods by managing serving duties and ensuring a positive customer experience Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure the well-being of both guests and team members. Adhere to all California labor laws, including mandated meal and rest breaks. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times your regular rate for hours worked over 8 in a day or 40 in a week. Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with state law. Requirements Enthusiasm for coffee culture and its traditions, with a desire to keep learning and sharing. Commitment to providing memorable, heartfelt customer service. Strong attention to detail for both beverage preparation and workspace cleanliness. Team-oriented mindset, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent communication skills and a welcoming presence. Previous experience as a barista or customer service professional is a plus, but heartfelt passion for our mission is essential. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
