In this role, you'll craft high-quality non-alcoholic drinks, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, and other drink options with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their experience Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and dining spaces to meet food safety standards Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments swiftly, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity Restock supplies regularly, including coffee beans, milk, cups, lids, and other essentials to ensure smooth daily operations Follow food safety guidelines during food preparation and beverage service to uphold health standards and customer trust Requirements Prior experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred; barista experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales efficiently Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining energy and enthusiasm throughout shifts Join us in creating a lively atmosphere where every cup served is an opportunity to delight our customers!
