Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Smoothie Barista Shift Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the smoothie bar, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead the team during your shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong food and beverage preparation skills, excellent time management abilities, and a passion for promoting healthy living through quality service. Duties Prepare smoothies, beverages, and food items in accordance with company standards while maintaining food safety protocols. Lead shift operations by coordinating team activities, managing customer flow, and ensuring efficient service. Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS system Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests professionally and addressing their needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie bar area, adhering to food handling and safety regulations. Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, POS operation, and customer service standards. Manage cash handling procedures, process cash transactions efficiently, and reconcile register totals at shift end. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in food service with a focus on beverage preparation. Familiarity with POS systems Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and register reconciliation. Commitment to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Previous café or smoothie shop experience is highly desirable. Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills. Ability to lead a team while maintaining a positive work environment.
