Overview At Trailhead Cafe, we believe a great morning starts with warm hospitality, quality food and coffee, and a team that genuinely enjoys taking care of people. We're looking for a Part-Time AM Barista to join our morning crew, primarily working weekends. The role is more than making coffee. You'll help create the welcoming atmosphere our guests know and love, whether they're grabbing a latte before work, meeting friends for breakfast, or spending the morning with family. If you enjoy connecting with people, staying busy, and working with a great team, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with precision and care Welcome every guest warmly, providing an exceptional experience Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling and beverage preparation stations, adhering to food safety standards Assist guests with menu recommendations and answer questions about our offerings Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling best practices Complete opening responsibilities and prepare the cafe for a successful day Work alongside the kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver a smooth, positive guest experience Experience Previous barista experience or café work; enthusiasm for coffee culture is essential Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with service skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively Ability to manage time effectively during busy morning hours while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and cleanliness Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Availability Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings What we offer: Hourly pay with tips Food Handler's certification Supportive, team-first culture Opportunities to grow If you're someone who loves mornings, enjoys making people's day a little better, and wants to be a part of a cafe that's built around community, we'd love to hear from you.
