Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair. Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items as needed. Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cashiering duties like giving change and balancing tills at shift end. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. Engage with customers to promote products, upsell items when appropriate, and enhance overall sales performance. Requirements Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Experience in serving or retail environments demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
