Key Responsibilities:

Ensure every customer interaction is positive, leading with a friendly greeting and attentive service Present and serve our diverse range of baked goods (bagels, French, and Asian-inspired pastries) with knowledge and enthusiasm Craft exceptional coffee and beverages, delivering our commitment to quality and consistency Maintain impeccable cleanliness from the bathroom to back of the house Maintain organization throughout the cafe, ensuring all inventory is stocked, labeled, and arranged by date. Resolve customer complaints with patience or escalate to management if necessary.

Experience:

1+ year of service experience preferred. Valid Food Handlers Certification for California, or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire. Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand for extended periods (6+ hours). Ability to lift and carry up to [e.g., 50 lbs] regularly. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions. Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot kitchens, cold walk-in refrigerators). Comfortable working with common allergens (e.g., wheat, dairy, nuts, eggs).
