This position will start part-time , with the possibility of becoming full-time as the business grows. Availability Must be available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Morning/daytime availability is especially important. Responsibilities Prepare espresso-based drinks and other café beverages Greet customers and provide friendly customer service Take and prepare customer orders Serve and package pastries Warm pastries and savory items as needed Keep the bakery clean, organized, and well stocked Complete daily side work Assist with closing duties, including sweeping and mopping Work efficiently during busy periods Multitask between making drinks, helping customers, serving pastries, and keeping the front organized Experience We prefer candidates with at least 3 months of barista experience, including basic knowledge of espresso preparation and properly steaming milk. Pay & Tips California minimum wage + cash and credit card tips Cash tips are distributed among the team Credit card tips are paid biweekly through payroll The total credit card tips collected each day are pooled and distributed proportionally based on the number of hours each employee worked that day Employees who work more hours that day receive a proportionally larger share of that day's tip pool What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Able to multitask and prioritize tasks Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment A good team player Willing to help wherever needed Comfortable with cleaning and side work Available Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday If you're interested, please apply through Indeed with your resume and current availability.
