About the Job We have a Full-Time Barista position open at our flagship location located at 3655 Lawton Street. We are looking for people who enjoy creating memorable customer experiences in a high-volume environment. This role has a rate of $19.50 - $21 per hour depending on experience, plus tips and benefits. Job perks include working in a beautifully designed new cafe with a professional team, and access to all the coffee you can drink! This position requires shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. What You'll Do Working knowledge of the coffee menu, various brewing methods, and non-coffee drinks. Working knowledge of the food program, food preparation methods, ability to answer questions, and make customer accommodations regarding allergy information. Taking orders and operating the cash register, preparing and expediting drink and food orders. Maintaining total cleanliness of the store. Ensuring that all food and drink items are to Andytown standard, only serving products you would be stoked to receive. Opening and Closing the store; following daily task lists, ensuring all equipment, surfaces, storage areas, floors, and windows are maintained and clean. Upholding health department standards. Requirements Motivated to create memorable experiences for guests. At Andytown we believe that making genuine interactions with our customers is just as important as making delicious coffee. Commitment to honing your coffee skills and food knowledge. Ability to do repetitive work, including tamping espresso by hand. Comfortability working in a small space in close proximity to others in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift 25-50 pounds. Ability to stand up to 8+ hours every shift.
