Responsibilities Prepare high-quality non-alcoholic beverages such as coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with attention to detail and consistency. Serve food items and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change with basic math skills. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, sanitation, and equipment cleaning to ensure food safety standards are met. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about menu items, and promote sales of beverages and snacks. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred; familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and perform cleaning duties regularly. Understanding of food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and adherence to health regulations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours. Experience in retail sales transactions, serving, beverage service, and drink service is highly desirable.
