Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions smoothly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces by following food safety and sanitation protocols. Handle cash transactions responsibly, processing payments efficiently while giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end. Assist in food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support café operations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety practices, beverage preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and balancing registers accurately. Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly in a fast-paced environment, and multitask efficiently. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service standards.
