The cafe space has been thoughtfully designed, featuring an assortment of lush couches, leather chairs, bench seating, and locally commissioned art. The space is perfect for meeting friends for cozy catchups, getting some work done, or grabbing a to-go drink for a walk to Keys Beach. We serve quality espresso, organic teas, botanical mocktails, gluten free bites, and a selection of retail goods. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including coffee, teas, and smoothies with precision and flair. Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent service that exceeds expectations. Operate POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling. Manage food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment. Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic food assembly and serving items efficiently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Barista. Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Experience in coffee preparation, serving, and retail sales within the food industry is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is advantageous. Passion for health and wellness, with an interest in herbal teas and botanical products is a plus.
