to process orders accurately and efficiently Manage cash handling, cashiering, and retail math to ensure correct transactions and balances Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing needs promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed Requirements Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as SQUARE is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and proper serving techniques Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment by themselves and with a team.
