About Us:

Copa Vida exists to deliver a super-welcoming, engaged, and seamless experience for each and every one of our guests. We're a 7-year old specialty coffee roaster based in Pasadena, with a thriving, brunch-focused cafés that span from Pasadena to San Diego. As we continue to expand throughout Southern California, we're always looking for great team-players to welcome aboard!

About The Job:

Some key responsibilities of this role are: Always be helpful to our guests and deliver an engaging hospitality experience for all Be a proactive team-player and work through challenges in a positive, constructive way Work the coffee bar and meet Copa's standards for drink quality and bar efficiency Stay current with our offerings and preparation techniques Operate our Point of Sale system and handle cash transactions Keep the entire café clean and organized Participate in company meetings and training events Embrace feedback as a path to success, and make necessary changes swiftly Job Qualifications Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills; for Copa, this means working as a cooperative member of the team and delivering the Copa experience to every guest Ability to remain composed and effective, even during times of crisis or difficulty Responsiveness to feedback from leadership Ability to multi-task Remain flexible to evolving demands and adaptive to change Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Technical capacity, including the ability to operate electronic devices and café equipment Possess a current food handlers card valid for work location
