Responsibilities Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, non-alcoholic drinks, and food items according to established recipes and quality standards Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their café experience and promote menu offerings Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas by following food safety and sanitation protocols Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while adhering to cash handling procedures Restock supplies, ingredients, and merchandise to ensure the café is well-equipped at all times Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or safety Qualifications Previous barista experience or food service background with knowledge of beverage preparation and serving techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with an energetic, positive attitude Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform retail math confidently Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and proper cleaning procedures in a café environment Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and inventory management Experience in the food industry or retail sales transactions is preferred but not required Join us if you're passionate about coffee, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
